Since his childhood, Roy Ponder, aka POW Ponder on Weather, has had a passion for the weather. In 2017, POW Ponder on Weather was born, he launched a Facebook page as an outlet to fulfill his hobby and help him to craft his forecasting skills. He created the motto “Protecting you before and after the storm”, because he literally does just that. His forecasting style relies on the 120 years’ worth of weather data, he is an analyst by nature and matches up analogs and weather patterns from past events to create his forecast. He has grown his platform from Facebook and now has a channel on YouTube, where he forecasts nationwide with daily videos and live to report on high-impact events.
